Sing, sing, sing.....
I love Sundays! They always fly by, mostly because they are so packed. One of the things I look forward to the most on the Lord's day is the chance to sing with our worship team for the morning service. It's such a privilege to help lead the congregation in the singing of hymns and choruses that glorify the Lord. This morning all of our songs dealt with true worship which went with Pastor's message on David and his acts of worship. Worship doesn't just deal with singing, however. It's a state of mind which can manifest itself in song, prayer, tears, testimony, etc... David's Psalms are filled with beautiful words that are an outpouring of his love for the Lord! Here is one of my favorite psalms:
Let All Things Praise the LORD
1 Praise the LORD!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
2 Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD!
I hope you take time to truly worship our God Almighty today!!!
