You are just so cute, Rachel! :) I recently read "Adopted for Life" by Russell Moore. It is an in-depth book about how adoption is so biblical and something every Christian should be involved in in some way, whether by actually adopting or by supporting those who do. A little bit meatier that what I normally read, but it was a great encouragement since we are planning on adopting someday! Have a great weekend! :)
i LOVE it!!!! I smiled the whole time watching... you do so well on video! Here are a few books I recommend like CrAzY even though it's been a long time since I read them:The Five Love Languages by Gary ChapmanPassion and Purity by Elizabeth Elliot (great for singles)Lady in Waiting (I don't remember the author, and another GREAT one for single ladies)I've recently heard of The Man who Loved Women by Max Lucado and was told it's an awesome read. (btw, I love that you had book shelves behind you in the video... great setting for your post!)Still prayin'! ♥ Michelle
yeah! love it - you're adorable!Stef
I think "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan is a must read for any believer. Great and practical truths for our Christian Walk. You can get it on Amazon or CBD online.
What a great idea! I have two books going right now, and I recommend both of them wholeheartedly. Captivating: Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul by John & Stasi Eldredge is one, and Wild Goose Chase by Mark Batterson is the other, and it is about chasing after the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to work in your life. Love them both!!
GREAT question! I big pink puffy heart reading! It's great to see the suggestions from others as well in the comments. The book you highlighted looks great and will remember to tell my P.W. friends (I have several, actually!) about it!I just finished my annual read of "Secrets of The Vine" I try to pick it up at least once a year to remind myself to constantly be aware of abiding in Christ. It's by Bruce Wilkinson and is a quick and easy read, yet so FULL of great truths!I recently picked up the following from our library:Battlefield of the Mind (Joyce Meyer)Believing God (Beth Moore)Cure for the Common Life: Living in Your Sweet Spot (Max Lucado)I'll be reviewing "French Women Don't Get Fat" over at my blog next month!Cheers!~h
I loved your vlog!!! You do so great on video! Right now I'm reading "Don't Make Me Count to Three!" It is such a good book on heart-oriented discipline.
Cute vlog! I'm currently reading Love & Respect by Emerson Eggerichs. It's a great one on marriage and relationships.
Okay, so I'm a month behind but THANK YOU for reading my book and for the shout out! :) I just finished reading Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" and am about to start "And the Shofar Blew" by Francine Rivers. It's about a pastor's wife, too and I had no idea until I'd already checked it out. I got you added to my blogroll. Thanks for joining! :)
