This month's book was.....
We're actually reading and studying it in our Young Adult Sunday School class at church, and, wow, is it ever eye opening. The premise that Craig Groeschel explains is that while we may call ourselves Christians, many of us live practically like atheists! The subtitle of this book sums it up by saying, "Believing in God, but living as if He doesn't exist".
The author addresses different issues in each of the chapters. Several that really spoke to my heart were:
*When you believe in God, but aren't sure He loves you
*When you believe in God, but don't think He's fair
*When you believe in God, but still worry all the time
*When you believe in God, but don't share your faith
If you are looking for a book that will completely change your mindset of what it means to truly live a life devoted to Christ, this is a great one to start with!! I was greatly influenced, and can't wait to discuss it further in our Sunday School class!!
I haven't quite decided on what July's book is yet. I have several in my "to-read" pile. I guess it will be a surprise!!
Now it's YOUR turn!! What have you been reading lately? Link-up a post or share in the comments!!
