Being OK with where you are...putting it to the test....

If all went according to plan, I would be posting my thoughts on the next few chapters of Being OK With Where You Are. In the midst of school, ministry, and emotional stress, it's just not going to happen.
I'm realizing, though, that being "ok" can be as simple as not stressing when God-given priorities trump my to-do list.

I do want to share one of my favorite thoughts from Chapter 7 on God's pruning in our lives....
“The path of being OK with where you are often involves pruning, and pruning passes through the heart of the Gospel. Out of death, comes life. The death of Christ purchased my redemption, and I am called to be like Him.” Pg. 60
Chew on that for a little bit! Wow! Profound!!

For other (much better written) thoughts on Stacey's book, check out her link up today!
Oh! and I can't forget! If you were, waiting for the book in print (vs. e-book), head over HERE to grab your copy for only $6.99!!

Have YOU read it yet?? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Rachel - First of all, THANK YOU so much for leaving a comment on my blog. It's so humbling to know that there are people like you who have been reading for quite a while. I LOVE being able to put names/faces to the numbers.

Secondly, I have been wanting to read Stacey's new book and your post might just be what pushes me to finally buy it and dig in.

Off to check out the rest of your blog.
