Overall, I've been feeling really good. I got just a little morning sickness at the very beginning, but struggled mostly with the bone-tired exhaustion that comes in the first trimester.
I've been able to stay up until 8:30 or 9 most nights lately, so there's definitely been an improvement.
When we found out I was expecting #3, Adam and I were doing Focus T25 full force. We had just started the Gamma level and I was a little wary about pushing myself on moves that I had not worked up to yet. I was able to keep up with the modified versions all through the holidays, but knew that I needed something specifically prenatal to keep me motivated.
I was so excited that Adam got me Sara Haley's Expecting More DVD for one of my Christmas presents.
It's still challenging (I'm sweaty by the end of all the workouts), but it's safe for my changing body. It's SO much better than the other prenatal workouts I've tried in the past.
Maybe it's the working out or the fact that I'm much busier this pregnancy, but I've only gained 4 pounds as of a couple days ago. I'm sure that will change as this baby grows, but it's nice to still be able to button my jeans at 4 months!
It's a few weeks away yet, but we definitely want to find out if it's a little boy or girl. We've had a girl name chosen since my first pregnancy, but are struggling with another boy name!
People have asked me if we're really hoping for a girl this time. It's a hard question to answer. I think it'd be so fun to have a little girl. The boys really want a little sister. But, I absolutely love having boys. They just light up my life! Three sons would be pretty perfect too! :)
Have a beautiful day, friends!
